The study examines the business entrepreneurship venture and the internally generated revenue of Landmark University Omu-Aran, Kwara State, Nigeria. The study adopts a quantitative methodology and uses the regression analysis to test the significant impact by ordinary least square analysis and vector auto-regression estimates. The study argues that private universities that are set up to provide a high level of work force for the development of the country are faced with inadequate fund at their establishment. Data was collected through both primary and secondary sources. The study reveals that the impact of business entrepreneurship venture on the internally generated revenue of Landmark University is positive for three business ventures. The study shows that Cafeteria, Shopping Mall, and Commercial farm proceeds had a huge impact on the internally generated revenue of the University. Also, the study reveals that revenue generated by the University can be improved by embarking on new marketing strategies that would attract the public to buy its commercial and other revenue generation activities. Therefore, the study recommends that the University management should put in place effective measures towards improving the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) for long-term sustainability....

Highlighting the importance of human resource manager’s challenges are the main objectives of this paper as well as the HRM influencing factors. With the promotion of China’s Rural Revitalization Strategic Planning, the number of rural people returning to the countryside to start their own businesses continues to grow. Accompanied by the return of entrepreneurs, there are also a large number of new farmers, such as cross-industry entrepreneurs, university students, migrant workers returning to their hometowns to start businesses and other new types of agricultural business operators. Entrepreneurship of new farmers is an important field for them to participate in rural practice, which helps to activate rural resource factors, foster new growth drivers, increase rural employment and income, and better implement the rural revitalization strategy. Social capital is an important resource that affects the heterogeneous information acquisition and entrepreneurial performance of new farmers, while opportunity identification is the starting point of entrepreneurial activities and runs through the whole entrepreneurial process. In Saudi Arabia, the social media has encouraged and facilitated promotion and creation of various business, resulting in the development of many startup fashion businesses on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. However, current literature does not offer an in-depth analysis to this topic and the potential of this digital market. Therefore, the following research covers the topic of effect of social media fashion marketing for startup fashion brands in Saudi Arabia. Utilizing many scientific articles on social media marketing and general literature on fashion marketing, this research aims to improve the understanding of the benefits of use of social media as an effective marketing tool for fashion startups by means of examining existing knowledge on social media marketing, and explains how fashion startups can use social media to benefit their businesses. Providing gerontological cares represents an increased challenge when applied to rural scenarios. This paper discusses the role of technology in gerontology and specifically how technology-based solutions can be developed to assist the elderly population in rural areas. We also characterize the Northeast Portuguese region exposing its rural characteristics and presented some demographic numbers. Finally, a conceptual model and a prototype supported by mobile devices are presented to assist and monitor the elderly and enhance business opportunities. The developed prototype allows not only to assist the elderly in a set of typical elderly population routines - such as those related to health - but also to improve the interaction between the elderly and their relatives and / or caregivers.
